The Battle of the Bands competition hosted by Be On the Scene (BOTS) the unique and creative UK talent agency is set to rock Londoners this summer. The battle will take place at Zebrano Soho, the latest London hotspot, and the tournament is free for any band to offer. The tournament to name the best band will take place over 15 weeks as over 70 live acts compete for the title.
A classic battle of the bands competition, the live music duel will invite seven to 10 acts onto the stage each week where they will perform three of their best crowd pleasing tunes. It’s then up to the audience to vote on which acts will stay and which will be given the boot.
Richard Ney, Be On The Scene Founder said, “The 15 week-long event promises to be an exhilarating fest of London’s best aspiring musical acts. With free entry and a fantastic inner city location, it’s an event not to be missed!”
Jason Gale, Managing Director, JJG Media Group who represent Zebrano said, “We are delighted to be hosting battle of the bands. Live music is a key feature of our weekly offering at Zebrano and we are proud to have featured some amazing talent over the last couple of years, who are now making large strides in the music industry after being discovered while playing at Zebrano.”
Of course, a competition wouldn’t be a competition without an enticing prize. In this case, the crowned Battle of the Bands winner will be awarded with an array of rewards including a £500 cash voucher to spend in a music store, three days in a recording studio provided by Blue Box Studios, an interview session and a paid gig plus a music distribution package worth £400 with Ditto Music. There is also fantastic loot up for grabs for runners up and competition finalists including BOTS Premium Membership, workshop development places and music store vouchers.
The stage will be set exclusively at Zebrano Soho, found at 18 Greek Street, W1D 4DS. This is not to be confused with London’s other Zebrano which is located on nearby Carnaby St.
The tournament is scheduled to take off on Sunday June 29 at 7pm with closing night falling on October 5. With free entrance for both contestants and observers, Be On The Scene’s Battle of the Bands competition is a fun, cheap and amped up night out for music lovers across the capital.
